Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) was established in 1958 in New Delhi and is affiliated with the University of Delhi. It is attached to Lok Nayak Hospital and other associated hospitals, giving students a very high patient load and strong clinical training. It is one of the most sought-after government medical colleges in the country for MBBS, and also offers postgraduate programs.
